1. Introduction

Vize is provided by Buildloop s.r.o., Company ID 24366854, with its registered office at Vomáčkova 194/4, Dolní Heršpice, 619 00 Brno, Czech Republic ("Buildloop", "we", "us"). Buildloop is the data controller for Vize.

We are here to help you practice manifestation through daily affirmation cards and personalized future-self audio stories in our app Vize (the "App"). Our App is available on the App Store.

We process personal data in accordance with applicable privacy laws, including Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data, and repealing Directive 95/46/EC ("GDPR").

By this privacy policy, we would like to inform you about how we process your personal data and provide you with relevant information required by the GDPR and similar privacy laws.

2. Personal Data Processed

We process personal data mainly during usage of our App. For clarity, we divide personal data into these categories:

• Email address and contact info: Your email address, name, profile picture, and similar account information provided during sign-up, the web onboarding funnel, purchase, or support requests.
• User account content: Information you provide when you use the App, including manifestation goals, onboarding answers, story prompts, generated affirmations and audio stories, selected focus areas, streaks, and other content you save.
• Usage data: Launches, taps, clicks, time spent in the App, and information about how you interact with features.
• Diagnostics data: Crash logs, performance data, and technical information about your device.
• Device tokens: Push notification tokens used to send reminders and app notifications if you enable them.
• Purchase data: Subscription status, purchase metadata, billing provider identifiers, and entitlement information processed through the App Store or payment infrastructure. Vize does not receive your full payment card number.
• Web onboarding data: Answers you choose to provide in the Vize web onboarding experience, attribution parameters, and a pseudonymous lead identifier used to save progress and connect a web purchase to your app account.
• Website analytics and advertising data: With your permission where required, browser information, device information, page views, clicks, campaign parameters, and similar usage signals collected through tools such as Meta Pixel, Meta Conversions API, and PostHog. Free-text onboarding answers and plain email addresses are not included in these analytics events.

Children: The App is not designated for children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 13.

3. Purposes of the Processing of Personal Data

We process your personal data as a data controller for the following purposes:

3.1 Provision of the App functionalities

We primarily process personal data to provide the App's core features: saving your goals and onboarding context, generating and saving personalized affirmations and future-self audio stories, tracking streaks, sending reminders, and managing subscription access.

• Legal basis: Performance of the contract (Terms of Service).
• Data processed: Email/contact info, user account content, device tokens, and purchase data.

3.2 Web onboarding and purchase handoff

When you use the Vize web onboarding experience, we process your answers, email address, purchase status, and a secure handoff identifier to save your progress, process your subscription, and make your plan and premium access available after you install and sign in to the App.

• Legal basis: Performance of the contract and steps taken at your request before entering into a contract.
• Data processed: Email/contact info, web onboarding data, purchase data, and limited technical information used for security and abuse prevention.

3.3 Improving our App and analytics

We may process data about how you use our App and website to understand trends and improve user experience.

• Legal basis: Legitimate interest.
• Data processed: Usage data, diagnostics data, and website analytics data.

3.4 App operation and security

We process data to ensure the App works correctly and securely, including authentication, database integrity, error tracking, and abuse prevention.

• Legal basis: Legitimate interest.
• Data processed: User account content, usage data, diagnostics data, and device information.

3.5 Marketing and advertising measurement

We may use optional analytics and advertising tools, including Meta Pixel, Meta Conversions API, and PostHog, to understand website visits, measure ad performance, and improve Vize marketing. If you decline optional tracking, Vize does not send optional browser or server-side advertising measurement events to Meta. We still process the purchase and subscription information required to complete your order and provide premium access.

• Legal basis: Consent where required, or legitimate interest where permitted by law.
• Data processed: Website analytics and advertising data.

4. Payments and Subscriptions

In-app purchases may be processed by Apple and RevenueCat. Purchases made in the Vize web onboarding funnel are processed by Paddle, which acts as merchant of record. We receive subscription and transaction status needed to provide access, but we do not receive your full payment card details.

5. Sharing of Personal Data

We may share personal information with third parties who help us provide our App and website to you ("Data Processors"):

• Hosting, database, and backend providers: Provide app infrastructure and store account content securely.
• Authentication providers: Manage user authentication and identity.
• Push notification providers: Send reminders and app notifications to your device when enabled.
• Payment and subscription providers: Apple, Paddle, and RevenueCat manage subscriptions, purchases, and premium access.
• AI content generation providers: Process your goals, onboarding context, and story prompts to generate personalized affirmation text, story text, narration audio, and images.
• Error tracking and analytics providers: Providers such as PostHog help us identify issues, measure funnel performance, and improve Vize when analytics are enabled.
• Apple: Processes data related to app installation, purchases, subscriptions, and authentication where applicable.
• Meta: Provides browser and server-side advertising measurement tools, including Meta Pixel and Meta Conversions API, only in accordance with your tracking choice where consent is required.

We do not sell your personal data to advertisers.

6. Data Security

We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your personal information, including:

• Encryption of data in transit and at rest where supported by our providers
• Secure authentication mechanisms
• Secure token storage on your device
• Access controls and regular security review

However, no method of transmission over the Internet is 100% secure.

7. Data Retention

We retain your personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide services, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, and maintain security. You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time through the App settings where available or by contacting us.

8. Your Rights

Under the GDPR and similar laws, you have the right to:

• Access: Request a copy of your data.
• Deletion: Request deletion of your account and associated data.
• Rectification: Correct inaccurate data.
• Object/Restrict: Object to processing based on legitimate interest.
• Data Portability: Request your data in a portable format.
• Marketing choices: Limit advertising tracking through your browser settings, device settings, or Meta ad preferences.
