A note from our founder
Why I built Vize
My wife is the most intentional person I know. She writes down what she wants, says it out loud, and keeps a note on her phone of the life she’s building. When she started manifesting, she went looking for an app to hold all of it.
She tried a lot of them. Some were beautiful and generic, the same hundred affirmations for everyone. Some were full of features and empty of feeling. None of them sounded like her life, and none of them sounded like her.
So I asked her what the perfect one would be. She didn’t list features. She described a feeling: putting in her headphones and hearing her own words, about her own life, as if it had already happened.
She didn’t ask for features. She asked for a feeling.
I build apps for a living, so I started building it for her. Affirmations written around what she actually wanted. A short story of her future, narrated to her at night. Her own lines beneath a soft fireplace, and a song about the thing she was calling in. She tested every version and told me, honestly, when a line felt fake or a voice felt wrong.
Vize is what came out of that. Nothing ships until it passes her test: does it sound like you, and would you play it again tonight? If it does, I hope you feel what she felt the first time she pressed play.
